CHARLOTTE, N.C.,- Elliott Davis, PLLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is pleased to announce that Practice Growth Director Liz Kalooky was honored on Thursday, June 21 as one of the Charlotte Business Journal's "Women in Business."

At the 16th annual awards event, held at the Charlotte Convention Center and attended by more than 550 people, Kalooky was one of 25 women in the Charlotte region recognized for her significant business accomplishments.

Kalooky is the marketing and business development leader for Elliott Davis, implementing strategic growth initiatives for the firm and its practices. Additionally, she is an avid professional developer, establishing and introducing coaching modules for the firm's young leaders aimed at fostering business development and client service skills.

During the past year, Kalooky oversaw Elliott Davis latest branding campaign which included the redesign of all firm collateral including brochures, proposals, presentations and the company website. These efforts were recently recognized at the 23rd Annual Association of Accounting Martketing Summit at which Elliott Davis was presentated with the Marketing Achievement Award for "Integrated Branding Programs Under a $100K Budget."

With more than 20 years of marketing experience, Kalooky joined Elliott Davis in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, she managed marketing and business development for the real estate practice at global law firm K&L Gates. Formerly, Kalooky served as director of business development for Kennedy Covington (acquired by K&L Gates in 2008) and previously as Carolinas marketing manager for a Big Four accounting firm. She received her B.S. in business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
